Cedar Fair Announces Free Admission to Military Personnel

SANDUSKY, Ohio – Cedar Fair Entertainment Company (NYSE: FUN), a publicly-traded leader in regional amusement parks, water parks, vacation resorts and entertainment, is pleased to announce that it will offer FREE admission to active and retired United States military personnel on Sunday and Monday of both the Memorial Day and July 4th weekends as a part of its Tribute to the Armed Forces program.

Also as a part of its Tribute to the Armed Forces program, active and retired members of the U.S military will be able to purchase discounted admission tickets for members of their immediate family (maximum of six) at a special military discount price.  The free ticket offer will be available on the Sunday and Monday of each weekend and a valid military ID must be presented.

“We wanted to do something special to honor the men and women of our Armed Forces,” stated Jack Falfas, Cedar Fair’s chief operating officer.  “These brave men and women sacrifice so much of their time with their families to help protect our country and this was our way of saying thank you to them by allowing them to save money and spend a fun-filled day together with their families.”

Cedar Point’s new build-your-own packages save guests time and money

SANDUSKY, Ohio, April 13 — This summer it will be easy and affordable to stay where you play at Cedar Point’s lakeside accommodations located right next door to the venerable amusement park/resort in Sandusky, Ohio.

For the first time, Cedar Point’s resort properties are offering money-saving Build-Your-Own Packages that can include great deals on admission that are only available to resort guests. Guests can save $15 or more on one-day Cedar Point and Starlight tickets (good after 5 p.m. or earlier).  Plus, new one- and three-day Ride & Slide tickets that include admission to Cedar Point and the Soak City waterpark on the same day, offer savings of more than $37 and $143, respectively.

Another offering exclusively for resort guests is Early Entry when they can enter the park one hour before Cedar Point opens to the public to enjoy select rides like Millennium Force and Raptor.

The best deal on Cedar Point season passes ends November 13

Time is running out to maximize savings on a summer of fun at Cedar Point.

Season passes for the 364-acre amusement park/resort in Sandusky are now on sale at the lowest price of the holiday season through Friday, Nov. 13.

During this time, 2010 Cedar Point Season Passes can be purchased for only $99.99, a savings of $12 per pass.  Cedar Point Season Pass renewals are only $95, while Cedar Point Junior and Senior Season Passes are only $72.  For a limited time, deferred billing will also be available on the purchase of 2010 season pass.

New for next summer at Cedar Point will be Shoot the Rapids, a $10.5 million water ride that will feature two hills and churning rapids through wooded areas and steep canyon walls.
